Bishop David Zubik appointed Father Dilio Onyejiuwa as a Priest in Residence to the partner parishes of Saint James and Saint Katharine Drexel effective Thursday, August 1, 2023.
Father Dilio is a priest of the Archdiocese of the Military. He has more recently served three tours in Kuwait. Father Dilio is transitioning from full time military service to the reserves. Father Dilio has obligations to service in the military which necessitates for him to be away in the reserves one weekend each month, two weeks in the months of each summer season as well as other commitments.
Father Dilio is the rank of Major in the U.S. Army and he holds a Ph.D. in Pastoral Counseling. Father Dilio is a native of Nigeria and has been a United States citizen since 2005.
Father Dilio was ordained as a priest on August 15, 1998. We offer our heartfelt congratulations and prayerful best wishes to Father Dilio as he celebrates his 25th Anniversary of Ordination as a Priest on August 15, 2023!
