Confirmation
Baptism, the Eucharist, and the sacrament of Confirmation together constitute the “sacraments of Christian initiation,” whose unity must be safeguarded. It must be explained to the faithful that the reception of the sacrament of Confirmation is necessary for the completion of baptismal grace.
Youth are confirmed either in the spring of Eighth Grade or in the fall of the Ninth Grade. For further information, please contact our partnership parishes at 724-225-1475 or 724-209-1370. Adults are confirmed at the Easter Vigil in accordance with the R.C.I.A. process.For “by the sacrament of Confirmation, [the baptized] are more perfectly bound to the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit.
